I love sharing! I am not a Content Nazi, but please ask my permission before redistributing my content on other blogs and websites or at the very least give proper credit and a link back. I have had professional sites copy my tutorials before by simply rewording a few things and taking new photos, this wasn’t very nice as it was one of my most popular posts that was on my original blog for years. Give credit where credit is due, as I have always done. Of course sharing items from my blog via social media sites like Pinterest, Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, etc. is always encouraged. I cross-post on many of my social media accounts and provide online social sharing links on my posts for your convenience! Again, attribution is requested in these instances. Please do not remove watermarks from my images or alter the images in any way. All materials used on this blog are either my original property or are royalty-free unless otherwise stated.

As stated above, I always try to give credit to the original sources of items used on my blog. If I have failed to credit someone or you feel the wrong person has received credit, please contact me via the Contact page and let me know! I will correct the issue ASAP!

Terms of Use
Use this site and the information on it at your own risk. This site is intended for educational, entertainment and inspirational purposes only. I endeavor to supply accurate information and sources. If you come across any inaccuracies in my posts/pages, please feel free to comment on that post or message me with your concerns via the Contact page.

I am not a licensed professional anything! I am not a decorator, doctor, lawyer, chef, travel agent, fabricator, carpenter, tailor, designer, etc., so my posts are based on my own personal opinions and experiences. You are not required to follow those opinions and I’m not responsible for damage or injury caused as a result if you do. Example: If I post that I think the red kitchen cabinets at Ikea are awesome, then, as a result, you go paint your cabinets red and then hate it, that’s not my fault. I do a lot of projects here on this blog, you are completely responsible for making sure that you take any and all safety precautions available to you while making items and following my tutorials. ALWAYS be careful with hot or sharp items, hand or power tools, toxic or noxious substances, etc. I am not responsible if you hurt yourself while executing one of my tutorials.

I have been doing handicrafts for decades, my results will most likely vary from what your finished project will look like. With handmade items, every one is different. I don’t even make two items identically the same. I am not responsible for projects that don’t turn out the way you expected. I try my best to make detailed and easy to follow tutorials, but I cannot guarantee your end results.

While the information contained within the site is periodically updated, no guarantee is given that the information provided on this Website is correct, complete, and up-to-date.

From time to time we might place ads from programs like Google AdSense (or from individual sponsors) in the context of the website layout. I will try to work with affiliate programs to make sure that all placed ads are appropriate for, and relevant to, the blog and its theme. No one likes an ad-heavy, ugly, blinking website that is hard to navigate because of all of the pop-ups and sliders; I promise to always make an effort to consider the visual aesthetic and the ease of use of the site when working with third parties to place ads.

Links from The Florida Blog to third-party sites do not constitute an endorsement by The Florida Blog of the parties or their products and services. The appearance on the Web site of advertisements and product or service information does not constitute an endorsement by The Florida Blog, and The Florida Blog has not investigated the claims made by any advertiser. Product information is based solely on material received from suppliers.

Recommendations & Reviews
Sometimes I review or recommend businesses or events. I give a true and honest accounting of such things based on my own experiences. I cannot guarantee that you will like the same entree’ that I purchased or that a dress will fit you the same way that it fit me. I can’t guarantee that you will have a good time or a great experience at the same show I went to see, and so on. As stated before, I write my own opinions. I’m not responsible if you choose to patronize a business, event or organization and it doesn’t live up to your expectations.

From time to time I might review products, host a giveaway or make a post for a sponsor on the blog in exchange for goods or a monetary fee. I will never write about something that I feel is spammy or shady and I will never lie to you about a product just because a company wanted me to review it. I’m not going to fill my blog with irrelevant posts about products no one wants to hear about. For example, I would never make a sponsored post about self-tanner and weight loss pills, because those have nothing to do with what this blog is about. I might review a new restaurant or write about a made-in-Florida jewelry line because those items do fit into the subject matter covered by this website. While I would like to generate enough funds from doing something I love to cover the costs of keeping this site running, I’m not going to sacrifice the integrity of my work just to do so.

“Garage Sales”
Occasionally I might hold a “Garage Sale” on the blog. I end up with a lot of finished projects, leftover supplies, photo props, and misc. items that I just don’t have room for around here. Blog sales are a good way to quickly clear out items that might be of interest to my readers. When I hold a sale I only accept payment via PayPal. These sales consist of a blog post featuring photos of items for sale accompanied by descriptions and prices (including U.S. Shipping). All items are accurately described to the best of my abilities. My home is free of drugs, smoke, mold and insect pests. I do have pets and live in a pollen heavy area of the country, so please keep that in mind when purchasing from me.

If you are interested in purchasing an item shown, comment “SOLD” on the post along with the name of the item you’d like to buy. Next, email me at contact@thefloridablog.com letting me know which item you are interested in, your name and your PayPal email address. I will send you a PayPal invoice for the full cost of the item as listed. Once I have received your payment confirmation, the item will be updated to reflect that it has been sold. Your item will then be carefully packaged and mailed to you at the address provided by your PayPal payment. I frequently sell things via both Ebay,  Etsy and Poshmark and have excellent feedback/reputation scores.
